Our final music video
This is our final video for our media project. We tried to incorporate a wide variety of shots to show our main characters filming.
Pictures whilst filming
These are some pictures that we have taken whislt we were filming the bathroom scene which was inspired by the film taxi driver
Final Digipak
These are the final pictures for our digipak. We have changed alot of it as we thought it didn't suit our target audience before.
Evaluation Question 4
This is my Prezi presentation for question 4 of the evaluations, I have covered all of the new media technologies that we have used and have analyzed them in as much detail as possible.
Evaluation - Question 3 Continued
This is a Xtranormal presentation of my conversation with Jake Ringland. I asked Jake Ringland to watch our finished video and got him to answer some questions that we had pre-prepared. Even though Jake is not a part of our media class I thought that he would be good to ask as he has a strong interest in music videos The first question that I asked was - "Is the narrative clear" Jake replied saying that the narrative was clear and that he thought it was confusing at times, I understand what he means as the story line itself is confusing, one of our main targets in the planning stage was to make the storyline obvious and easy to understand.
The next question that I asked what "Is the performance believable?" This is a key question in our analysis as the acting plays a big part in our video as another one of our main targets was to show the characters feelings and emotions throughout. Jake said that even though the acting was very good although some of the facial expressions were a bit too much and you could tell that they were putting it on, he also said that you could tell the main character was sad throughout due to the way he was walking and also the way that he was acting. This is very good for us as this is what we wanted to show our audience.
I then asked "Are there a good variety of camera angles and movements?" to which he said that we used a wide range of them showing a clear display of the narrative which is what we were aiming for. He said that he liked the camera angles when Brogan the main character was going through his bag and we switched to a low angle show to show what was happening with the gun under the table, he said he liked this as he knew what was going to happen next. Overall I am very happy with the comments he has made on our camera angles and movements.
I then continued to asked him questions the next one was "Does our video look professional?" he said that it was professional except for some of the acting as it came across as trying to hard also he said that one or two of the shots may have been shaky but not too noticeable
. "Overall did you enjoy our video?" was the last question that I asked Jake, he said that overall he enjoyed the video and that he was able to see what was happening both at school and at home, also he said the best part of it all was that the narrative and music video ended on a cliffhanger, he said this made him want to know what was happening and wanted to know how it all ended.
Overall I am very happy with all of Jake's comments on our music video and I will take all of his criticism on board and remember it for next time. Also I believe that all of our questions highlighted key factors of the video and cover a wide range of the video
